Alexis Kendrick is an assistant professor in the School of Physical Therapy at Arkansas Colleges of Health Education. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2016 from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arkansas Tech University in 2010. She has worked as a licensed physical therapist in Michigan and Arkansas treating a variety of patients in acute care, geriatrics, and women’s health. She has devoted extra time to her special interests, including pelvic health and hippotherapy. While serving on faculty, she is also working toward an additional degree, a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership. She has completed pelvic floor physical therapy training through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and she is also a member of the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy of the APTA.
