Alyssa WooPT, DPT

Originally born in Henderson, my family moved to Spring Creek, NV when I was 11 years old. Coming from an underserved area in rural Northeastern Nevada, I first discovered the field of physical therapy after recurring injuries from running high school track and cross country. My passion grew as I desired to educate the public about the scope of practice of a physical therapist. As I began observing with a variety of therapists in different settings, I was instantly intrigued by pelvic health. I witnessed gratitude in so many women on their path to healing that inspired me to pursue this specific area of practice. After high school I lived in Guatemala for 18 months as I served a mission for my church. Looking for continued diversity and growth, I moved to Hawaii to attend BYU-Hawaii. I enjoyed making friends from all over the world and embracing different cultures and ways of thinking.
