Sara is proud to offer specialty women’s health rehab services to Northeast Florida after transitioning from a long time career treating high risk infants and mothers in the hospital setting. With her experience working as a professional birth coach and as mother of two, Sara has first hand experience in prevention and recovery from pregnancy and birth related dysfunction. She enjoys incorporating her yoga instructor training and OT perspective into pelvic floor rehab, always considering functional applications of home exercises and adaptations of activities of daily living such as child care, breastfeeding, and sexual health. Sara completed Laura Rowan’s PR-MATT and Lindsey Vestal’s OT Pioneer courses which together fulfill Herman and Wallace’s PF1 course requirements. She also completed Sarah Duvall’s Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist course work.
