Lauren KaufeltPT, DPT

Dr. Lauren Kaufelt majored in Exercise Science in undergrad and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University at Buffalo in 2012. With a strong exercise science background, it was only natural to feel passionate about treating orthopedic and sports-related injuries. It wasn’t long before she also fell in love with treating women’s health and pelvic floor issues. The pelvic floor is often the missing link to many unresolved musculoskeletal conditions. Having expertise in both orthopedics and the pelvic floor have allowed for a more holistic and integrative approach. Lauren has established a Pelvic Health Program at a large physical therapy practice in NYC. As the Program Director, she has mentored numerous Pelvic Floor Physical Therapists. Lauren is also a Pilates instructor. She completed a comprehensive Pilates teacher training with Polestar Pilates.
