Dr. Lisa Johnson received her Baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University, and immediately began practicing in an outpatient sports and orthopedic clinic. She earned a Master of Science degree from Touro College and a Post-Professional Clinical Doctorate from Stony Brook University. She holds the distinction of dual certification by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics, as well as Women’s Health Physical Therapy. She has served on the Specialization Academy of Content Experts and the Women’s Health Specialty Council for the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Dr. Johnson also served on the faculty at Stony Brook University for sixteen years, teaching in the Physical Therapy Doctorate Programs, and served as Coordinator of Women’s Health Services at Southampton Hospital in New York.
