Dr. Kayla Aponte is a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist. She is originally from Orlando but moved to Columbus, Georgia over 10 years ago while serving 6 years in the United States Army. She earned her Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Columbus State University. She then earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine, which has a highly reputable program in orthopedics and manual therapy. In addition to being a specialized pelvic health physical therapist, she is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and certified nutrition coach (CNC). She is currently pursuing her certification in Manual Therapy (MTC) from University of St. Augustine, which includes an extensive series of joint and myofascial manipulation courses. She has met all requirements to perform Dry Needling and is currently in the process of obtaining her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) through Herman & Wallace.
