I am an orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapist and founder of In Bloom Physio, LLC. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2017 from the University of Evansville, where I received the Outstanding Physical Therapist Award for my graduating class. I am also a graduate of Evidence in Motion’s Orthopedic Residency, a postgraduate program focused on evidence-based practice, advanced clinical reasoning, and manual therapy skills. I hold board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, a designation held by less than 10 percent of practicing physical therapists. After becoming a mother and struggling to return to the levels of physical activity I previously enjoyed, I identified a need in my community for physical therapists with advanced knowledge of orthopedics and sports medicine as well as women’s health, and I set out to bridge the gap between these two fields of practice.
