I completed a BS in Exercise Science and Athletic Training at Ball State University in 2008, received my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in 2011 and became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatrics by the American Board of Physical Therapy in 2018. I was fortunate to have figured out my dream career early in my schooling. I knew the plan was to become a physical therapist so I could help the world move and develop long-lasting meaningful relationships. I also knew I wanted to teach, but I wasn’t sure how that would look at the time. Upon graduating from grad school, I started as a traveling physical therapist and got the opportunity to work in multiple settings, with adults and children, as far as Texas. I quickly discovered that my love for pediatrics was strong and I sought out as many pediatric opportunities as I could. In 2013, I settled back down in Fort Wayne, IN, and started practicing as a pediatric physical therapist full-time and contin
