About
I grew up in rural north Missouri. I initially began my health professions career as a nurse. I attained my LPN at North Central Missouri College, in Trenton, MO. It was through nursing that I found my love for women's health, but also discovered something new- occupational therapy. I loved the idea of holistic therapy and helping people in a different way. I obtained my Master's in Occupational Therapy from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO in 2012. Since this time I’ve worked in multiple settings varying from inpatient, outpatient, home health, geriatrics, and pediatrics. After I returned "home" to rural north Missouri, I noticed limited access available to specialty services, such as pelvic floor therapy, without a two hour drive to the city. This is what sparked me to pursue my passion between women's health and occupational therapy. I began specializing in pelvic floor in 2016.
