Studied Kinesiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and earned a Bachelors of Science. Continued at UAB and attended DPT program before graduating in December 2020. I became interested in pelvic health rehab at the beginning of PT school when the hot topic of incontinence while competing in weightlifting or powerlifting started popping up on social media. I decided to begin studying pelvic health courses following graduation from PT school, and now I practice pelvic floor physical therapy full time. I am a competitive weightlifter, highland games athletes and am most passionate about working with people with incontinence or pelvic pain to resume their normal recreational activities and to reduce the taboo around talking about pelvic health. I want all my patients to realize they are not alone, and that there are ways physical therapy can help!
