Katie Baird, PT, DPT is a 2010 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. She started her physical therapy career in Washington, DC where she was first introduced to pelvic rehab. Originally from Baton Rouge, Katie and her family moved back to southeast Louisiana in 2011. Katie has taken multiple continuing education courses to become a pelvic health practitioner through Herman and Wallace, as well as the American Physical Therapy Association's Section on Women's Health. Katie's passion is for helping women overcome pelvic floor dysfunctions that may be contributing to pain, incontinence, or a simple disruption to their overall well being. She treats women with a range of pelvic floor conditions including painful intercourse, urge and stress urinary incontinence, prolapse, constipation, fecal incontinence, and most recently expanding to include pediatrics with conditions such as bed wetting, neurogenic bladder, and constipation.
