About
Carla specializes in pelvic health and orthopaedic physical therapy. Her interest for pelvic health dates back to 2015 when she learned that physical therapy can be a successful treatment for pelvic pain and can greatly improve a person's quality of life. Carla began treating people with pelvic health conditions during her last 3-month clinical rotation of graduate school, and continues to receive training through the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy, Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, and her colleagues at Saco Bay Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy and Select Medical. Carla received her Bachelor's degree in Dance in 2011 from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. After dancing professionally for several years in the West Coast, she returned to graduate school and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2020 from Boston University.
