JoEllen BenderPT, DPT

JoEllen is a licensed physical therapist at Hulst Jepsen Physical Therapy's East Grand Rapids location. JoEllen attained her undergraduate degree in exercise science and health science from Saginaw Valley State University. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Michigan in 2016. JoEllen has been working in the physical therapy realm for 7 years as an aide and fitness class instructor. She is currently certified in Level 1 functional applied science, Fascial Movement Taping 1 and strives to provide evidence-based therapy services to each individual client. JoEllen has specific clinical experience working with the pelvic/women’s health, vestibular and athletic injury populations. She enjoys treating clients of all ages and diagnoses although has a strong passion for working with women throughout the stages of pregnancy as well as athletes experiencing pelvic related impairments.
