About
Amber Schmitt is a local Rockhust MHOT graduate, who went on to advance her studies of the pelvic floor under Herman and Wallace, Lindsey Vestal, and more. Amber is passionate about helping patients return to their desired activities without pain or dysfunction. As a certified Perinatal Health Specialist, Amber's main focus is the perinatal period: patients attempting to conceive, currently pregnant, or postpartum. Working both inpatient at Research Medical Center, and outpatient on the Brookside Campus allows Amber to follow her patients through the entire spectrum of their care - this is especially important for those giving birth who need to be seen within the first 72 hours after delivery. Amber also holds space for those in the LGBTQ+ community and cares for all her patients with kindness and compassion.
