Hi! My name is Amber. I graduated from Oakland University with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2021 and quickly ventured into treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. I started working in general outpatient orthopedics and had patients with shoulder, foot, knee, neck, hip or back pain. I had a lot of patients admit to me that they had urine leakage or prolapse. At the time I would refer these patients to my mentor who began treating them for their incontinence or prolapse and then their hip or back pain got better. I very soon realized that I was missing a large part of the picture by not addressing pelvic floor muscle function. PT school does not teach pelvic floor dysfunction so I took every class I could get my hands on to learn everything I could about this population. I now specialize in urinary and fecal incontinence treatment as well as treating prolapse, and pain with penetration. I currently only treat female pelvic floor disorders. I strive to ensure that pa
