Melanie RocchioPT, DPT

Melanie graduated with honors from Hunter College with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and completed internships in acute bedside, inpatient neurological rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedics. Melanie has gained extensive experience in orthopedics treating patients with a wide range of sports-related injuries, neurological diagnoses, post-operative conditions, gait and balance deficits, postural dysfunction, and long COVID syndrome. In addition to her orthopedic background, Melanie is a Herman and Wallace trained pelvic floor physical therapist and provides specialized one-on-one care in a private setting. She is extremely passionate about treating this population and strives to uncover the root causes of pain and dysfunction through a holistic approach. Melanie also understands the sensitive nature of this area of practice and works hard to create an environment that is safe and inclusive for her patients.
