About

I got my master's in Occupational Therapy at Augusta University (aka The Medical College of Georgia). It wasn't until I experienced birth trauma after the delivery of my first son that I encountered pelvic floor therapy. Through my experience as a patient I felt that I had something to offer as an occupational therapist therefore my journey of education began. I spent 4 years going to many continuing education courses hosted by Herman and Wallace, Postpartum Support International and Lindsey Vestal with the intent to transfer to outpatient within the hospital setting that I was working for at the time. But my journey didn't lead me in the direction that I thought and covid changed a lot of things resulting in me opening up my private practice in September 2021. At The Perinatal Pelvis we help pregnant women with pain, postural changes, incontinence and activity limitations so they can stay strong and functional up to delivery. We help postpartum women with pain, incontinence, delivery
