About
Alissa is originally from Dayton, OH and received her bachelors from the University of Dayton and her doctorate in physical therapy from Walsh University in Canton, OH in 2017. In 2020, she completed an orthopedic residency program through Upstream Rehabilitation Institute and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Alissa loves incorporating her passions for strength and conditioning with hands on treatment to help patients reach their full potential and return to activities they enjoy. In her free time Alissa enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, exercising, traveling, and making crafts. Alissa was first introduced to pelvic floor physical therapy in PT school, and she has been interested in the topic ever since. She is passionate about advocating for individuals of all genders with pelvic-related pain and dysfunction as well as continuing to learn new skills and techniques to help her patients.
