Dr. Emily Priestas (she/her) is the owner and founder of Paradigm Pelvic Health & Wellness. She received her B.S. in exercise physiology and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from West Virginia University. She is among the distinguished 10% of physical therapists who are recognized as board certified orthopedic clinical specialists. Dr. Emily has received advanced training in evaluation and treatment of the pelvic floor through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is recognized as a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist, and has been trained in advanced dry needling through Myopain Seminars. In addition to her clinical time, Dr. Priestas is adjunct faculty for the Marshall University Doctor of Physical Therapy program, and teaches the pelvic health curriculum to the University’s 3rd year PT students.
