Mieke Haeck

I have 20 years of experience working as a physical therapist. Born and raised in Belgium, I graduated from the Catholic University of Leuven as a Physical Therapist in 2001. Afterwards, I pursued a 2 year program at the University of Ghent to become an Orthopedic Manual Therapist. With a strong desire to discover the world and travel, my first work experiences as a physical therapist were in Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and Turkey. Eventually my journey led to New York City, where I worked for 5 years in an Orthopedic Practice on the Upper East Side, always working on improving my skills and knowledge with continuing education in Maitland Techniques, Manual Therapy at University of St Augustine, Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery and Kinesiotaping Institute. Becoming a mom in 2010, I became more acutely aware of the need for pelvic rehab in the US compared to Europe. I decided to expand my practice and become a Pelvic Health Specialist.
