Emily Kimmins is a licensed and registered Doctor of Occupational Therapy in the state of South Carolina and Arizona. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2008 and received a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in 2013. Emily has completed post graduate education and training for pelvic floor rehabilitation from a variety of sources including Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, OT Pioneers and received a certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. As a military spouse, she has moved across the nation throughout her career and has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities and outpatient clinics. Emily's journey into pelvic floor therapy started following her personal experience with her own need for pelvic floor therapy during postpartum recovery.
