I’m Dr. Jackie Dooyema and I have been a practicing Physical Therapist for over 8 years. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree at University of Sioux Falls and my Doctor of Physical Therapy at University of South Dakota. Following a few years of outpatient orthopedic work, God led me to become a pelvic specialist when I moved to Nashville, Tennessee for my husband to pursue graduate education. I was the Clinic Director of an outpatient clinic specializing solely in pelvic health. When I returned to South Dakota, I realized a significant need for specific education and care for pregnant and postpartum women. I am passionate about women’s health physical therapy, and I desire to bridge the gap in care and advocate, educate, and strengthen pregnant and postpartum women to help them achieve their highest activity potential. I have education and training unlike anyone else in the region to provide high quality care. As a mother of 2, I understand the fears during pregnancy, labor and deliv
