Catherine graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Tennessee in 2007. After working several years in a respected outpatient physical therapy practice in Knoxville, and seeing the benefits of manual physical therapy for so many people, she decided to further pursue this field of health care as a career. She then graduated with honors from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2012 earning her doctorate in physical therapy. Catherine began her career in an outpatient orthopedic setting where she worked with patients of all ages and treated a wide variety of conditions. During that time she had the chance to work with some of the top manual therapists in the field, allowing her the opportunity to further her hands-on skills and knowledge. After working in the orthopedic setting for 7 years, she began to recognize the importance of pelvic health in many of her female patients and its significant impact on their quality of life.
