Alex Trevino is a native of the Rio Grande Valley located in south Texas where he brought his passion of helping people through pelvic floor therapy to become a new service line available for the community. After completing his doctorate of physical therapy from Texas State University in 2018 which included rotations and advanced education training in pelvic health, he created the first hospital based outpatient pelvic floor therapy in south Texas. He has over 5 years experience in treating patients, giving presentations to health care providers and the community involving pelvic floor therapy. Alex also initiated the community’s awareness for prostate cancer since 2018 with now annual September events sponsored by the hospital for patients, their families, health care providers, and the community in proper outreach, screening, and other beneficial activities.
