Ines Schwemmer graduated from the University of Utah with a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2001 and a Clinical Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011. Throughout her career she has worked in a variety of settings, but her focus and passion has been in Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Rehab. Ines has been a member of the APTA and Section on Women’s Health since 1998 and is a certified women's health specialist since 2014. She has sought out mentorship from the best practitioners in the country and advanced her knowledge and skills with extensive training in the US and Europe. In 2008, she joined the University of Utah Orthopaedic Center, where she developed a Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Rehab program. She is a leader in her specialty and hopes to bring clinicians with similar interests together to better serve the community. Her special interest is in serving women with pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction as well as supporting women with breast cancer related problems.
