Brandon PoenPT, DPT

Brandon is originally from Bourbonnais, IL and relocated to Richmond in 2017 following his wife matching into VCU’s General Surgery Residency Program. He graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2012 majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy as well as Minoring in Spanish. He continued his education at Northern Illinois University to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. He worked in the suburbs in Detroit for his first 2 years out of school prior to moving to Virginia. He has gone through various continuing education courses on various topics related to orthopedics, sports, fitness, pain, and many more. Brandon has experience with a wide variety of orthopedic, sports, neurological conditions, and has also worked with people with amputations. He has a special interest in treating people with spinal pain and is able to speak Spanish proficiently.
