Hi! I’m Dr. Kira. I’m an orthopedic and pelvic health Physical Therapist. I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Delaware, and B.S. in Kinesiology from Texas Christian University. As a Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitor and former competitive Cross-Fitter, I know the high demand of those sports and I love working with athletes of all levels. I’m especially passionate about working with women new to weight-lifting and creating a safe, non-intimidating space for them to feel strong and empowered! Ultimately, my mission is to take the time to listen to your story, your needs, and your goals so we can formulate the most effective and efficient plan to get you back on the mats confidently, in the gym regularly, and in a routine of healthy living that you actually enjoy! Outside of the gym you can find me volunteering at a wildlife rehab, playing with my animals, or buying more plants!
