Alyssa Rives, PT, DPT, CSCS, Cert. DN earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine–Georgia, where she graduated with honors. She also holds a background in exercise and sport science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Alyssa has completed specialized training in pelvic health through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Alyssa has also completed advanced coursework through Barbell Rehab on Unique Considerations for the Female Barbell Athlete, as well as ICE Physio’s Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete During Pregnancy and Postpartum. Alyssa is certified in dry needling and blood flow restriction training. As a pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapist, Alyssa specializes in working with women experiencing low back, hip, and pelvic girdle pain; urinary incontinence and urgency/frequency; pelvic organ prolapse; diastasis recti; and pain with intercourse or gynecologic exams.
