About
I received my bachelors degree in clinical science and my masters degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College, and shortly thereafter I received my doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) from Boston University. I started my career working in inpatient acute care where I specialized in wound care and became a certified wound specialist (CWS) as well as certified in the LeDuc method for treating lymphedema. After six years working in acute care, I transitioned over to outpatient orthopedics and completed a 10-month manual therapy certification through the Ola Grimsby Institute. For the last five years I have specialized in treating male and female pelvic floor dysfunction and I helped to start the pelvic floor program at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, CA. I am currently more than halfway through obtaining a masters degree in health care administration (MHA) through Des Moines University. When I’m not working or studying, I love to spend time with my husband and two daughters.
