Alexis MetoyerPT, DPT

Lexi Shepard is a Texas native. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Oklahoma City University in 2019. In 2022, Lexi graduated from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Watching the impact that physical therapy had on her little brother inspired her to become a physical therapist. Lexi first learned about pelvic health physical therapy in PT school and has not looked back since. She spent 6 months learning about treating pelvic problems during her clinical rotations and has been treating pelvic health patients for 1 year upon graduation. Currently licensed in Georgia, Lexi plans to pursue her certification in Women’s Health. Since entering the field, Lexi has developed a passion for treating all types of urinary incontinence, dyspareunia, and pelvic organ prolapse. When not in the clinic, Lexi enjoys spending time with family, working out, reading, and watching tv.
