About
Kristina Jackson is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is passionate about access to pelvic health, health literacy, and education. She became interested in the field of pelvic floor physical therapy while in physical therapy school and shadowed pelvic floor therapists trained by Herman + Wallace and the Barral Institute during her clinical rotations. She completed Pelvic Floor Level 1 through Herman + Wallace prior to starting a clinical rotation that was 100% pelvic health treating male and female pelvic floor dysfunction. The conditions she treated ranged from incontinence, constipation, and post-partum care to pelvic pain, gender reassignment, and post-prostatectomy rehabilitation. She is currently working for Advocate Aurora Health at Advocate Trinity Hospital and Christ Medical Center. She is excited to work with diverse populations and to continue her journey to become a board-certified pelvic floor physical therapist.
