Myriam CokerDPT

Myriam Coker, PT, DPT Myriam grew up in Tupelo, MS and attended the University of Mississippi where she earned her degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. The Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College provided her with many opportunities to engage with the community as both a citizen and scholar. It was from these experiences that she knew she wanted to pursue a career in physical therapy. Myriam then attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center where she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. During one of her clinical experiences, she was introduced to pelvic health and her curiosity was sparked. After her first pelvic floor course, she knew she had found her passion. She treats a variety of issues in women including prolapse, tailbone pain, pubic symphysis pain, urinary and fecal leakage, pain with vaginal penetration and painful periods.
