Suzanne Sanders PTDPT

Suzanne obtained her undergraduate degree in dance from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS in 2001. After a successful 17 year career teaching classical ballet, she returned to school to pursue and then obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. During this time she completed a clinical rotation at a privately owned pelvic health clinic in the Memphis, TN area under the training of a certified pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist (PCES). Also during this clinical rotation, Suzanne combined her skill and knowledge of classical ballet training with her new found knowledge of pelvic floor rehab through researching the effects of ballet training on the pelvic floor and delivering an in-service to the clinic.
