Kristie Volmink, PT, DPT, PRPC, MCMT is a physical therapist at the Pelvic Health Center at UW Medical Center – Northwest. She earned her physical therapy degree in South Africa in 2007 and completed her transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy (tDPT) at The College of St. Scholastica in Minnesota in 2021. Dr. Volmink began her career in South Africa, where she owned and managed a private physical therapy practice. She worked as a physical therapist in Ithaca, New York in 2021 before moving to Seattle to join UW Medicine in 2022. Dr. Volmink is a pelvic health specialist, treating patients of all genders with bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic girdle pain, endometriosis and oncology related pelvic issues. She uses evidence-based care and a whole-person approach to support healing, restore function, and help patients feel confident in their bodies.
